The blood of Our Planet
by Milota Sidorova

The future of the oil is closely attached to our living standard. The oil, according the specialist is the blood of our planet. It is the necessity for the forms of transport as we know it and use it, for the food, chemical, medical industry. It is the semi-product entering every production, since it is the source of electricity as well. The future is to lose this cheap and probably the easiest source of energy for our needs. The last greatest oil field was found in the middle 90's in Saudi Arabia. According oil specialist, the companies have yet, the best developed technology to find the sources. But there is nothing bigger coming out. The result is making oil out of sands! in Canada – probably the most expensive way to generate oil. This is not the lone example. Let's add some fact. The curve of oil mining is known for a longer time. According to this, man can harvest the oil very easily until the breaking point. The curve has a parabolic shape. Once we cross the breaking point, it is possible to dig out from deeper areas. The quality of the oil is rapidly dropping. Literally it means to harvest less quantity and quality with higher energy incomes. That means the increasing prices of the oil from now on. Yes, according more studies, the mankind reached the breaking point between 2004-2009. Increasing price of the oil means increasing prices of not only the basic goods. Although politicians swear to hold the price on the sustainable level, the trend has been known since 70's. The planet is running out of its reserves. And for that there is the only possible scenario. Unless the pressure on technical development will strengthen and lead i! nto real consequences.
