Balance and sustainability?

We all are looking for stability, equilibrium and harmony. We all want to live peaceful and generous lives with no denial and fears. But only few of us can really say they already found it and the lives we are dreaming of, they are actually living. The irony in it lies in fact, that usually people with comfortable lives are talking about necessity of balanced and sustainable economic growth. President Barack Obama said he expected broad agreement by G-20 nations on how to achieve this balance and sustainability. US President, who spoke during a joint news conference in Seoul with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, is defending U.S. steps to climb out of its deep recessio! n as “prudent and stable” wrote Associated Press. But the decision of the Federal Reserve to buy $600 billion in bonds was not commented. One Slovak saying “he is preaching water, but drinking wine” could fit just on this situation. Obama, which stresses how essential is a strong United States economy for a global recovery, is “splurging” money of American taxpayers. Neither his belief, nor his words that the U.S. economy is a “huge engine” that will impel other countries to grow, will persuade his trading partners who were angered by the purchase of the bonds. China, which criticized U.S. easy money policies and warned two days before a G20 leaders summit that Washington could destabilize the global economy and inflate asset bubbles, provoked Obama’s comments. He said: “We still have a lot of work to do…one of the key steps is putting in place additional tools to encourage balanced and sustainable growth.! 221; As he added, progress would not happen “all at once! ” (but America, could be, or maybe should be the first…)
