MySpace- a living dead
by Claudia Sonea
Entered on the market as one of the most promising social site and also being the first site of that kind, MySpace has a future that is not too bright. Some would say, the administrators are to blame for the lost of grace, others would keep quiet and simply register to another site. What will happen and where is all heading remains a mystery and a very big controversy due to the fact that Yahoo is planning to take over the site. Why would a giant company acquire something that is ought to be "dead"? Like the majority, I too have an account on MySpace, but I have to confess I switched to Hi5 and Facebook. Reasons are undoubtedly numerous and statistics show that others have done the same thing, in consequence MySpace is losing about 30% of their registered users a day. That is an exaggerated number, because if it was true, in three days we would not have anymore this site. However, there are serious reasons to be concerned about the future of the site. The main causes of the fallback are those referring to the unattendance of the site by the admins, this leading to many unsolved complaints of the users who should always receive a red carpet treatment in order to maintain them content and tied to the use of the site. Now, I know this might be difficult, but no one asked for perfection, so we would be grateful at least to try to fulfil the basic needs, that MySpace isn't offering anymore. Unless new changes will occur, and I bet they will, due to the Yahoo's interest in this site, MySpace will become a living dead web space. Let us keep our fingers crossed and hope better things are about to come. Until further news, enjoy your surf!
