Demand for small cars is rising

In these days, everybody is forced to travel. Adults need to go to work, children have to attend school and public means of transport do not always represent the best possible solution. Almost every family needs to have a car. Having a car brings along many advantages and can facilitate daily life in many ways. However nowadays, there are also many cons connected with possessing a car and I supposed the most serious one is a price for gas. It is not possible simply sell a car or stop using it suddenly for motorists, that is why they have found another solution for this situation and start to replace their current cars for smaller and more economical models. As prices for the gas reached the value of $3.50 per gallon all car buyers stopped searching for big cars or pickups, which were modern and very popular few years ago and start to orientate to smaller cars and crossovers. Scott Piechicinski, who has been doing a research in this area said simply, that fuel is money, and nobody wants to give earned money uselessly as far as it is not necessary. According to Autodata Corporation the annual sales of small cars rose by 32 percent last year, and experts say, this increase has not still reached its peak and is going to rise even more. Nowadays, small cars are representing major and the most important segment of an auto market in USA as users bought 2.8 million of them last year, which is a current record.
