During the life people have to decide about their future. They can choose school and job which they want to do. There are many possibilities. Some people decide to have family and others prefer to find a good job and to build a perfect career. †These people concentrate only for working and there is nothing else what they are interested in. They are becoming workaholics. That is very usual today because people wish to be rich. Workaholics can't make a line between work and family, work and hobbies, work and real life. It is quite hard to realize and change it. But there are also people who can do it.The CEO of the world's largest philanthropy, Patty Stonesifer has just achieved it. She has worked for Bill and Melinda Gates for 11 years. Firstly, when in 1997, she was signing on she thought she would work there for three or four years. I don't know if she was workaholic but her reason to leave this job is to find better balance between work and her personal life and to concentrate deeper into a project. At the moment she doesn't want to talk about her new job and nobody except of her knows about it. She will leave as CEO by January 1, 2009 but she will stay with the foundation. She stepped down as senior vice president of the company's Interactive Media Division where she led the team that developed consumer software like the Encarta Encyclopedia and the Magic School Bus series. She is grateful for unbelievable experience and she said it was wonderful job. Now the foundation is looking for someone instead of her, but everything what they have is only long list of candidates. I think that sometimes people come by the line that structure of their worthiness changes and suddenly they prefer other things than is working. They feel that their life is adequate. Maybe it is also reason why Bill Gates stepped down from his full time job at Microsoft.
