Nothing is achievable overnight!

I heard someone as he says: “Slovaks want to become rich overnight.” and even though I agreed with this statement, I didn’t think it is only Slovakian feature. Our problem, I mean problems of human race, is not crisis, it is not even unemployment or other things connected with it, it is our impatience. We want everything and immediately. We are not able to wait or even work hard to achieve it. We think that our desire is strong enough to fulfill our dreams. We want to start our own business but we think we will get rich in a year. We want to become popular and we truly believe there is nothing easier than that. But when we (very quickly) find out we were w! rong, the things are all crashing down we are suddenly powerless. We cannot learn from our own mistakes, not even from someone else’s mistakes. Economists started to be quite optimistic about the whole situation in economy and their prognosis sounded: we are very close to its recovery. Now they have to take their words back as the contribution of these final three months of the year to the economic recovery will be very small if any. Analysts say about growth of around 2.5 percent in the October-December quarter, what is slower than 3 percent pace in the third quarter. Of course, there was a reason for optimism in the third quarter as many consumers came back to life. Mark Vitner, economist at Wells Fargo Securities says: “We are fairly pessimistic about the holiday shopping season” as wages and salaries are down and people have no money for spending. As I already wrote, patience is what we are missing. We should wait for a while, try not to think about th! e crisis, maybe save some money and then we will see what happ! en. Reme mber: nothing is achievable overnight!
