Apple profit rises
by Beata Novomeska

Apple Inc. had a very good profit last days because of selling good products as a Macintosh computers and iPod players. Macintoshes were good, the iPods were flat and iPhones were OK as Robert Stimpson, portfolio manager stated. The enterprise had a 36 percent rise in quarterly profit because of good sales. Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer stated that he expected gross margin in the June quarter. It is probable that shares of Apple propel higher in spite of conservative financial forecasts. Net profit for its fiscal second quarter rose to $1.05 billion or $ 1.16 per share a year ago. Revenue grew by 43 percent. It is interesting to follow up the entire development of profits in Apple. I assume that profit will rise higher because of selling qualitative products and increased demand by investors. The quality of its products it is suggested by numbers of sold computers. Apple sold 2.29 million Macintoshes in the quarter and it overtook its forecast which was from 2.04 million to 2.2 million units. When we speak about iPods Apple sold 10.6 million and 1.7 million iPhones. Both of them to the top end of Wall Street expectations. I assume that Apple is now on its peak of success and marketability of its products. Even, Apple is expected to develop faster iPhone model in a few months. Apple wants to sell about 10 million iPhones this year said Oppenheimer. Its revenue in USA was up 40 percent and overseas revenue was 47 percent. Its retail stores was up to 74 percent. As Apple gives very conservative forecasts, it is easy to beat them. Anyway, Apple with its good products, demands from customers and developing of new items has very good assumes to stay on market and increase its profits. Apple is expected to earn $1.00 per share on revenue of $7.2 billion for its fiscal third quarter. Apple's shares rose about 4 percent.
