One of the greatest car company and also the most admired and praised has surprised everyone with technical errors that could lead to a series of events negative for drivers with the speed rush in their veins. Ford, the company mentioned above, had a press release on Thursday on an engine sensor that could lead to engine stalling and therefore they will .17 million trucks, sport utility vehicles and vans in need to be fixed. The Web site of The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration revealed that the camshaft position sensor located on the engine could function intermittently and lead to an engine stall and potential crash. It is no wonder that Ford having such a reputation has considered the problem and concluded that the 14 accidents caused by the sensor, an electrical component that helps regulate the fuel going into the engine, are enough to recall the cars, inspect them and replace the sensor with a new one free of charge. However, the fact that the recalled vehicles are all from the 1997-2003 model years with 7.3 liter diesel engines, including the Ford E-Series van, Excursion full-size sport utility vehicle, and F-450 Super Duty and F-550 Super Duty trucks, could make the owners claim for a certain compensation for having their life at risk. Ford spokesman Dan Jarvis assured that drivers traveling at speeds greater than 30 miles per hour would have full power steering and power braking, allowing them to pull over to the side of the road. Same thing is available for drivers speeding below 30 mph. The question remains at what speed would the engine stall actually produce? Finally the recall will start somewhere around the 17th of December and owners of vehicles mentioned above can contact the dealers any time until May 18.
